Our half-day departs from Surfers Paradise to Duranbah (NSW border) and returns to Surfers Paradise.
There are several stops along the way, mostly being the prominent National Surfing Reserves that are Burleigh Heads, Currumbin Alley & Snapper-Kirra. (overlapping with the recently announced GOLD COAST WORLD SURFING RESERVE). You will experience not only our kombi cruise but also enjoy a peak at the Gold Coast’s most beautiful beaches as we go. Informative facts and footage of surfing are presented in the kombi with our 3 audio/visual screens to entertain and promote the world that is surfing.
We visit the SURFWORLD MUSEUM for a guided tour of the evolution of surfing culture that has and is forever changing throughout the decades as far back as the 1930’s. The diverse coastal strip is forever changing, from sandy beaches with treacherous headland rocks, to massive swells and riptides that only those who dare venture into the water chance their fate. All of this is can be perfect one day and challenging the next.
Let the adventure begin…
